BJP likely to retain Uttarakhand Exit poll

According to STAR News-Nielsen exit poll, the ruling BJP is
retaining power in Uttarakhand with 36 seats while Congress is getting 29
seats in the house of 70. The poll, conducted by STAR News-Nielsen, was
done on January 31 across 35 constituencies with the help of 8,172voters.




In Uttarakhand, it looks like the magic of chief minister BC Khanduri will
pave the way for the ruling BJP to retain it with the Congress improving
its performance.




Uttarakhand vote share:
In 2007 Assembly elections, Congress
had received 29.83 per cent votes. The party is expected to get 36 per
cent votes.




Meanwhile, the BJP had got 32.46 per cent votes in the last election, it
is expected that it will get 39 per cent votes this time.




According to the survey, BSP's vote share will increase. It is likely to
get 13 per cent votes. Uttarakhand Kranti Dal's vote share is expected to
decrease.
