BJP releases its 1st list of candidates from Punjab and Goa Assembly elections

New Delhi: Bhartiya Janta Party on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Punjab and Assembly elections. In a press briefing chaired by union Minister Jaya Prakash Nadda, BJP made official the names of 17 candidates from Punjab and 29 from Goa. BJP releases its 1st list of candidates from Punjab and Goa Assembly elections BJP List 1 In Punjab, Bhartiya Janta Party is in an alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal and both would together contest for 117 constituencies. BJP releases its 1st list of candidates from Punjab and Goa Assembly elections BJP list 2 In Goa, there are a total of 40 seats for which the parties would contest. With the election date coming close, the campaigning and preparations for the forthcoming elections have started in full swing in all the parties. Punjab would go for polls on February 4, whereas in Goa the elections would take place on February 4. The counting for all the states would begin together on March 11.
