Andhra CM lauds anti-corruption helpline no. 1100

Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Aug 23 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday lauded the state government for introducing the helpline number 1100 in a bid to curb corruption and said the 'first of its kind' initiative is performing effectively.

"I am very much satisfied with the performance for the helpline number 1100 introduced by the state government. It is first of its kind in India," he said here while addressing a press conference.

Naidu further said that whenever government will plan to start a new welfare scheme, public feedback will be taken through the helpline number and based on that feedback action will be taken.

He further claimed that till now the response is good on the same.

The Andhra Pradesh Government earlier in the year, introduced the helpline service to tackle corruption in the state. (ANI)
