Amarinder Singh transfers RSS leader Ravinder Gosain's murder case to NIA

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], October 20 (ANI): Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Thursday confirmed that on the request of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he has ordered transfer of leader Ravinder Gosain's murder case to National Investigation Agency (NIA).

On October 17, 60-year-old Ravinder Gosain, RSS functionary, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in Ludhiana's Kailash Nagar. The murder took place in the morning while Gosain was returning from a drill at a local RSS shakha.

Meanwhile, Amaridner Singh also announced Rs. 5 lakh compensation for the murder RSS leader's family and a government job for one of Gosain's four children. (ANI)
