ABP News Rajasthan Assembly Election 2018 Exit Polls: The state of Rajasthan is voting for 200 seats in the assembly election that began at 8 am today. The state assembly is facing a bipolar fight between Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The exit poll results by ABP News will be out after voting hours today on December 7, which is the last leg of polling in elections to five states also including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. Meanwhile, voters lined up at 51,687 booths and cast their vote on Friday. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sachin Pilot and other leaders were among those who exercised their franchise. Raje voted at a polling booth in her Jhalrapatan constituency in Jhalawar district, while Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Congress leader Sachin Pilot voted at a polling booth in Jaipur. Raje (Jhalrapatan), Pilot (Tonk), former chief minister Ashok Gehlot (Sardarpura) are among the 2,274 candidates in the fray. Counting of votes will take place on December 11 along with four other states.

Congress will clutch the giant share of the overall seats in the assembly. The BJP is likely to retain 83 seats of the 199 seats, losing another term in the state. The Indian National Congress is likely to secure 101 seats.

The Congress has emerged as the most preferred party; 41.5% percent have voted for the Congress whereas the incumbent party BJP has secured 40 percent of the votes. On the other hand, BSP has got 4% votes, according to ABP News exit poll.

Pre-poll survey was conducted by Lokniti-CSDS between Nov 26 and Dec 2, 2018 and the exit poll was conducted on Dec 7, 2018. Sample size of Pre Poll was 5027, while it was 2270 for exit poll.

An interesting finding which emerges from the survey is that though people are not ready to give another chance to the BJP government in the state in the present assembly election, but they are ready to give another chance to BJP govt in upcoming Lok Sabha election scheduled in 2019
