19-year-old dies after falling from terrace, investigation underway

New Delhi [India], August 13 (ANI): An investigation into the suspicious death of a 19-year-old, who fell from the second floor-terrace of a restaurant in Delhi's Hauz Khas Village area, in underway.

The deceased, Siddharth, is the son of former Manipur minister M. Okendru, and was found fallen at the backside of a restaurant at 4 p.m. by the Delhi Police.

The boy was shifted to the hospital. He, later, succumbed to his injuries.

The boy's sister has claimed the death was suspicious. The police officials, however, said the case was being investigated for all possibilities.

When the police reached the spot, they recovered broken pots, a purse, a mobile phone and a pair of spectacles.

An FIR has been filed in this regard and an investigation is underway. (ANI)
