J Jayalalithaa's health 'being constantly monitored', it's improving but

New Delhi: The market of rumours regarding the health of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is on rise. In the middle of this, BJP president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley reached Chennai to know her wellbeing, on Wednesday. After coming out from the hospital, they refrained answering any questions of the media. Meanwhile, all departments and ministries of the CM is handed over to her close aid O. Panneerselvam. The political fever is rising in the state amid illness of J Jayalalithaa. However, Raj Bhavan has made it clear that the lady is still the CM of the state. Till she gets healthy, O. Panneerselvam will take care of departments and ministers she was handling. However, opposition party DMK is questioning the decision. The rumours about CM are so high that till now, two people are taken into custody and cases have been filed against 45 others. CM is hospitalised since September 22. Since the CM is hospitalised, the entire opposition is united and is asking for proof. The opposition has expressed shock after the news of Panneerselvam taking over the departments has come. Questions are being raised that if she is not able to meet anyone then who is giving orders? However, AIADMK has termed these questions as politically motivated. A panel of doctors is keeping close watch of the health of the CM and it is being said that her condition is improving day by day. However, what exactly has happened to her, no one is ready to answer this question. The only information learnt is she may have to be in the hospital for a longer duration. It may be recalled that nearly 32 years ago the then CM MGR was admitted in this very Apollo hospital secretly on October 5, 1984. Information about his health was also kept very secret. MGR has been considered the political guru of J Jayalalithaa. Information about her health is being kept secret exactly the way it was kept of MGR. However, all we wish her is speedy recovery and we hope we will see her actively involved in political activities again.
