Xiaomi Redmi 4 launch date revealed: Expected specs, features and more

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently announced the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Redmi 4 during its event, to be held on Nov 4. Appeared in a couple of rumours lately, the smartphone may be a low-cost, budget friendly variant, dubbed the Redmi 4. The smartphone was reported first by Android Headlines after Xiaomi posted a poster that teased the launch of a new smartphone on Nov 4 on its Weibo account. Looking at the teaser poster, we can see that the left corner of the Redmi 4 is being shown, which appears to be in black colour. It seems like we might also get a 2.5D curved glass in the front along with thin bezels, metal frame and antenna bands. Xiaomi Redmi 4 launch date revealed: Expected specs, features and more Having said this, we are still unable to see more details in the poster, and we expect the device to come with power button and volume rocker on the smartphone’s right side along with a SIM slot on its left. This is pretty much how Xiaomi device smartphone are being made so far. The Redmi 4 may feature a 5 inch display screen, while being powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and 13 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera modules. The device also features a 4,000 mAh battery. Along with this, a few rumours suggest the launch of Redmi 4’s lighter variant dubbed as the Redmi 4A, which may sport a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, while being powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad Core Processor. On the camera department, users get a 13 MP sensor in the rear while a 5 MP sensor fills up the front facing camera module.
