Xiaomi launches Redmi 3S, 3S Prime smartphones in India

New Delhi:  Chinese tech company Xiaomi launched Redmi 3S and finger-print sensor equipped Redmi 3S Prime smartphone in India on Wednesday. Hugo barra Xiaomi’s Vice President told reporters here that "I am thrilled to be introducing a Redmi device today and once again change the game in the sub-10k smartphone industry in India," Redmi 3S comes in metal body which has 5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via micro-SD card. The smartphone packs 13MP rear camera with PDAF, 5MP front camera and houses 4100mAh battery. Redmi 3S Prime comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime cost Rs 6,999  and  Rs 8,999 respectively. Of the two devices, Redmi 3S Prime will go on sale first, starting August 9. Redmi 3S will go on sale from August 16. Both the smartphones will be available exclusively on Mi.com and Flipkart.
