Bangalore: Samsung had recently announced its premium GALAXY Note Edge in India a few days ago. While details on the price were a bit unsure, fans were happy to know that the device would be available in the coming year and that it would go on pre-order by the 1st of January. Seems like Samsung was indeed in a hurry, as the device has now been listed for pre-order at online retailer Amazon, for a price tag of Rs 64,900 in India.
While the pre-order button is available, the delivery details state that the handset will be released on the 5th of January 2015. This means that while you can pre-book a Note Edge now, it will get delivered only by the 9th of January. While we would recommend that you head to a brick and mortar store and check and buy it, there is this tiny, little problem about availability as the handset is said to enter the Indian market in limited numbers.
So yes, pre-booking it online will ensure that you can acquire one for sure. The GALAXY Note 4 was quite a beast but with the Rs 65,000 price tag, the Edge will compete (not entirely) with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus which also happens to be the competitor of the Note 4 as well. The Samsung GALAXY Note Edge is available for pre-order in Charcoal Black and Frost White and comes with EMI options from Citibank, ICICI and HDFC at Amazon.in.
