Reliance JioPhone full specifications, features revealed

NEW DELHI: The much awaited JioPhone will be open for pre-booking on 24 August 2017 at 5pm. The device is available to customers at an effective price of zero, ie, effectively free. The JioPhone will be distributed on a ‘first come first serve’ basis to only those who pre-book starting 24th August, 2017. On the first day of pre-bookings, Reliance Jio has released the full specifications phone on its website. The handset is free and has a refundable security of Rs. 1500. The attention that the phone garnered confirms that the customers are curious to know about the features such as expandable storage support, processor and whether it has hotspot function or not. Jio Phone Specifications The single Nano-SIM Jio Phone sports a 2.4 inch display and is powered by 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SPRD dual-core processor with 512 MB of RAM. It offers 4GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 128 GB. It has 2-megapixel rear camera at the back and VGA front camera. The phone packs 2000mAh battery which has 12 hours of talktime. Jio Phone Features It comes with voice enabled search with Jio Assistant that allows you to open apps, search on Google and even compose SMS. It works in English and Hindi cathering to the audience. The phone can be connected through TV and comes in 22 languages. For now, the phone is available in black and has in-box accessories which include battery, charger, handset, service guide, warranty card and SIM card. The first Jio phone will have apps such as Jio Cinema, Jio Music and Jio TV along with social networking apps. Technical Specification
