FCI Recruitment 2019: The Food Corporation of India is up for a recruitment bonanza through which it aims to fill a whopping 4103 vacancies for various posts including Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil Engineering / Electrical Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade II (AG II) (Hindi), Steno Grade-II, Typist (Hindi) and Assistant Grade-III (AG III) (General / Accounts / Technical / Depot). FCI has released a notification against Advertisement number 01/2019, as per which the online application process for this mega recruitment drive is scheduled to commence on 23rd February 2019 and interested candidates can submit their online applications on or before 25th March 2019 on its official website – fci.gov.in. FCI Recruitment 2019 - Zone-wise Vacancy Details: North Zone - 1999 South Zone - 540 East Zone - 538 West Zone - 124 North East Zone - 291 Eligibility Criteria: J.E. (Civil Engineering) The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience. J.E. (Electrical Mechanical) The applicant must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering  with one year experience in the case of Diploma holders only. Steno Grade- II The applicant must be a Graduate along with O‘ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively or Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively. Assistant Grade-II (AG-II) (Hindi) Essential: The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. S/he must be proficient in English and must possess One year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Typist (Hindi) The applicant must be a Graduate or equivalent, and must possess 30 wpm speed in Hindi Typing. Preference will be given to candidates who possess bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and possess Computer knowledge. Assistant Grade-III (General) The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers. Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) The applicant must be Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers. Assistant Grade-III (Technical) The applicant must be B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University or B.Sc. with any of the following subject viz Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science. Or B. Tech / BE in Food Science / Food Science and Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology from a recognized University / an institution approved by AICTE. S/he must be proficient in the of computers. Assistant Grade-III (Depot) The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers.
