Myanmar student commits suicide

Gaya (Bihar): A post-graduate Myanmarese student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel here, police said today.



The body of 28-year-old Pishatna, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in Magadh University hostel this morning, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) Satish Kumar said.


Pishatna was a first year post-graduate student in ancient history, Kumar said.


The Myanmar embassy in New Delhi has been informed about the incident, the police officer said.
