Indian Start-up 'Talocity' becomes one of the top ten start-ups

    New Delhi: UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) conferred Indian start-up Talocity, World’s first talent stock exchange with the Tech Rocketship Awards  in Disruptive Technology category. Ketan Dewan, CEO and Co-founder, Talocity was bestowed this award at India UK Tech Summit 2016. Talocity was one of the ten start-ups who were selected from over 10,000 companies and conferred with the Tech Rocketship award. Over 10,000 companies were evaluated in multi-city tour and 600 companies were shortlisted in the first phase. The pre-finals had 35 companies out of which the best 10 were selected. A panel of judges comprising of Anand Mahindra (Mahindra Group), Dr. Saurabh Srivastava (Indian Angel Network), T V Mohandas Pai (Board of Manipal Global Education), Ms. Shardha Sharma (Founder, YourStory), Dr. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw (Biocon Limited) evaluated and selected the winners. And here’s more surprise! These top ten young entrepreneurs will win a trip to the UK, which will include access to the best of British expertise and advice, and a chance to pitch to potential investors for finance. On this occasion, Ketan Dewan, CEO and Co-founder, Talocity said, “It is a great honour to receive Tech Rocketship Award this year.
