India-Bound Honda WR-V Spotted Again, Shows Its Face!

New Delhi: Honda India’s debutante sub-4m SUV will share its platform and a few design elements with the Jazz. Honda WR-V Japanese automaker Honda’s Brazilian unit is busy developing a sub-4m SUV which will be based on the Jazz’s platform. The vehicle was first spotted in March this year, however, the front profile has now been spied for the first time. There is no official confirmation regarding the name of this vehicle, but it is reportedly called the ‘Honda WR-V,’ and will make its world debut in November at the 2016 São Paulo International Motor Show. Honda WR-V Speaking of the design, the side profile is unmistakably Jazz, as evinced from the doors, the window line, and the front vent glass. The front and rear profile are, however, entirely different compared to the hatchback. The front features a squared high-set bonnet and a bold set of headlamps. The grille appears similar to that of other Honda SUVs such as theHR-V and the BR-V. If you look at the pictures closely, the wheel arches are pronounced, courtesy to the all-around body cladding, which also encloses circular fog lamps.   The WR-V shares its platform and most of the components with the Jazz. So there’s the possibility that Honda might launch it in India early next year after its Brazilian debut. It will compete with other sub-4m SUVs such as the Ford EcoSport, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and others. Honda WR-V Source:  cardekho.com
