Bajaj suspends the production of its two new models, the AS200 and AS150

New Delhi: Bajaj auto has adjourned the production of two models (the AS200 and AS150) of its Pulsar Adventure Sports series. The news was confirmed by the officials of Bajaj as they are planning to implement BS-IV norms in these two upcoming models. Hence, the company has stopped the production of these two models.

The AS150 will be powered by a 149.5cc, Twin-spark, 4-valve DTS-i engine that churns out 17PS of power and 13Nm of torque. While, on the other hand, the AS200 is powered by a more powerful 199.5cc, Triple-spark, 4-valve DTS-i mill that produces 23.5PS of power and 18.3Nm of peak torque. The 2017 models will get a BS-IV compliant motor. Moreover, the new bikes will receive new colour shades and a few cosmetic updates.

The Pulsar AS150 and AS200 are very latest and new-fangled products from Bajaj Auto. Unfortunately, the sale of both models has not done well in this competitive market and moreover, the manufacturer is also disappointed with its sale’s volume. That’s why in December, the company is planning to make a formal announcement regarding its future.
